Liv Sproule Memorial Round

Join us on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April to honour the memory of Livinia. She was a kind and loving girl who was taken from us too soon by a rare cancer.

What is the Liv Sproule Memorial Round

The Liv Sproule Memorial Round was founded in 2021 and this year is held on round 2 of the Hockey Tasmania Club Season. The memorial round provides a chance to remember Livinia and fundraise to help support Australians who have been diagnosed with a rare or less common cancer. To date our community has raised more than $28,000 in honour of Liv.

This year's fundraising will take place by purchasing wristbands, ribbons and cookies. Donations are also welcome and appreciated.

Who was Livinia Sproule?

Livinia (Liv) Sproule was a kind and loving woman who was taken from us too soon.

She was an amazing hockey player and always put the team first. I knew Liv since I was four years old. We were inseparable from the start, always together at school and then straight after school at hockey.

She was much smarter than I and always strived to be the best, even when she got sick, Liv continued to study from hospital.

This whole memorial round is a chance to remember Livinia and the comradery of the sport she loved to play.

Thank you, Phillida
