In loving memory of Nancy Mills
Nancy suffered from metastatic micropapillary urothelial carcinoma; a rare and highly aggressive bladder cancer that spread to other parts of the body.
Nancy was very passionate about research into cures and further support for people living with cancer. She experienced an excellent level of medical care, and it was very important to her that all people living with cancer experience a high level of care, support, and increased quality of life.
Cancer support and research is a cause that is very near and dear to our family, and so we do ask that in lieu of flowers, you please consider donating to Rare Cancers Australia in Nancy's memory.
RCA works to provide support services for people with rare cancers like Nancy, assists with navigating treatment options and finding appropriate care, and assists people who cannot afford the treatment they need. RCA also funds research and has a long history of effective advocacy to put rare cancers in the spotlight of government and funding bodies.
