I'm fundraising for...
Wednesday 19th Feb Margaret Martin was an exceptional human. She will be remembered as one who gave life to the party, advice to those who sought it and love unconditionally. She lived a full life that was nevertheless cut short. Originally diagnosed with an aggressive Invasive globular carcinoma (ILC), after two years free it metastasized in the form of Leptomeningeal carcinomatosis (LC), a difficult to treat cancer which eventually took her life. She wanted her experience to help improve others' lives who may be affected by similar diseases. In this light her two sons (and informally adopted son) are driving 16,000 km in July 2016 from London to Mongolia (The Mongol rally) to raise money and awareness for this important cause.
