I'm fundraising for...
Wednesday 19th Feb People with rare cancers need help with research funding, support and awareness. Not only is it so overwhelming to receive a diagnosis but those with rare cancers get a little neglected when it comes to well-funded research and thus cures are rare. Denise Clarke and I are doing a crazy long swim around Manhattan Island on 20 August- 48km! (but with current assistance - hopefully). I swam the English Channel in 2018, raising funds for ovarian cancer, with my amazing friend Caitlin Delaney ever on my mind. Today she remains larger than life, a huge advocate for rare cancers, and continues to tenaciously scour clinical trials to find the best one for her rare ovarian cancer, while continually lobbying for more support. This charity was suggested by Caitlin and she heads into yet more untested treatment, so please give generously, and I will match the final total at the end of August. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
