The "International Back to Back Wool Challenge" promotes wool craftsmanship and raises funds for cancer research.
In a team of seven who spin and knit, plus one shearer, the challenge is from the back of one sheep, hand shorn, to spin its fleece and then knit it into a jumper in the shortest time possible. On Saturday February 28th, a couple of teams in Gippsland, will attempt this at the Foster Agricultural Show.
Our team, "Priscilla's Shepherds" is competing on the day against the very experienced Koorooman teamĀ
Please help us support Rare Cancers Australia as they improve the lives of Australians diagnosed with rare and less common cancers, by giving whatever you can.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot to us!
