In loving memory of Gregory Lennox
Our beautiful Greg was taken from us at only 33 years old after a short, but incredibly brave, 17 month battle with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour.
Greg was an adored husband to Carla, and the most wonderful Dad to Hayden and Gabrielle, who were only 7 and 5 years old at the time he was diagnosed with one of the world rarest Soft Tissue Sarcomas, on the 1st August 2016.
DSRCT is a cancer of unknown origin. There are no symptoms present until the cancer starts affecting major organs and that’s when a patient starts to experience pain, fatigue etc. DSRCT is often misdiagnosed as other common ailments and once diagnosed, there are very limited treatment options. Treatment is then very invasive, expensive and in nearly all reported cases of patients, ineffective.
