I'm proudly fighting and fundraising in honour of my Mum (Anne) who lost her fight to cancer at the age of 43 and my Dad (Ken) who lost his fight 7 years ago during treatment for bowel and liver cancer.
This year I am proudly partnering with The Corporate Clash Macarthur to fight for an incredible cause that will see me put on the gloves and step into the ring as a boxer for one memorable evening.
This annual event was an initiative of two businessmen in our local community, Mark Scarce and Grant Butterfield, commencing in 2014. It helps to raise awareness and much-needed funds for carefully selected, low-administration, local charities, organisations and individuals.
This year's main event beneficiary is Rare Cancers Australia (RCA), who help provide support to Australians diagnosed with rare, less common or complex cancer.
In August 2024, I will be fighting for the 52,000 Australians diagnosed with a rare cancer each year and to help RCA. This includes all children who are diagnosed with any form of cancer.
Every dollar raised from this fundraising page will help provide specially made support packs to all RCA patients. These support packs help to bring joy to people going through one of the hardest chapters of their lives.
RCA is a Federal Government-classified Health Promotion Charity. All donations over AU $2 are fully tax deductible.
