My partner, Chris, was a dedicated Correctional Officer and accomplished motorbike racer before his life changed unexpectedly in November 2024.
On November 30th, Chris was rushed to hospital in a critical septic condition and diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), a rare and aggressive cancer. Doctors began emergency treatment immediately as his organs had already begun to fail.
Over the next nine months, Chris endured over five rounds of chemotherapy, including two high-risk treatments, and faced several serious medical complications. Despite the challenges, his determination and resilience amazed his medical team and everyone around him.
When chemotherapy alone was not enough, Chris underwent a bone marrow transplant followed by a long hospital recovery. He is now in the early stages of remission and continues to fight hard every day to regain his strength.
This journey has taken an enormous physical, emotional, and financial toll. With ongoing hospital visits and extended time away from work, we are now facing significant financial hardship.
All donations will go directly toward supporting Chris’s continued recovery and helping Chris rebuild his life after this difficult chapter.
