100km for Saff

I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

Hi everyone,

I’m Lottie and this July, I’m taking on a personal challenge to run 100 kilometres to raise awareness for something very close to my heart. My incredible friend Saffy, who is just 21 years old, has recently been diagnosed with adrenal cancer - a rare and aggressive form of cancer that few people have even heard of.

What’s made this all the more shocking is that Saffy’s symptoms were so minor - things you’d never expect to be serious. Her diagnosis has been a huge wake-up call, not just to us as her friends, but also to the reality that these rare conditions can affect anyone, at any age, without warning.

Saffy has always been the kind of person who lights up every room - kind, brave, and full of life. Now it’s time for us to show her the same energy and strength she gives to everyone around her.

By running 100km this July, I hope to not only support Saffy but also help raise awareness of adrenal cancer - so others might catch it earlier, talk more openly about their health, and feel a little less alone if they’re facing something similar.
